With roots as independent agencies going back over 50 years, the Kenai Peninsula insurance office of HUB International is a full-service broker, offering a complete array of Commercial Insurance, Surety, Risk Management, Employee Benefits, and Personal Insurance programs for businesses and families across the state. Our experienced teams of consultants have over 100 years of combined insurance expertise and are committed to providing customized insurance solutions with an understanding of the unique needs of the Alaskan market.
In 2016 two prominent locally owned independent agencies, Brown Agency and 1st Alaska Insurance, joined forces with HUB International bringing the Kenai and Soldotna communities the personalized and expert services of two locally managed agencies with the resources of a global insurance company. Doug Brown of Brown Agency Insurance began offering Employee Benefits and Life Insurance solutions to his clients in 1982 and expanded his services to include Commercial Insurance in 1990. 1st Alaska Insurance was formed in 2013 with a focus on Personal Insurance when Mike Pate, who started in the insurance industry in 1976, bought the Soldotna insurance office from a national financial services company. This strategic alliance provides our clients the resources of the largest privately held global insurance broker while maintaining the local management, long term relationships and the superior service our clients have come to know and trust.
